4 STAR BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN SANTORINI

On the island of Oia and specifically on the Southeast coast, in the Settlement ‘Perissa’ We are studying a New 4-star Boutique Hotel, with a total area of ​​1300 sq m.

The plot of land with an area of ​​1600 sq m, has 3 aspects to public roads and is surrounded by two main axes of movement of the settlement that lead to the sea & to the ring road and a pedestrian street. Located in the natural embrace created by the mountainous mass ‘Mesa Vouno’ with a 360° perimeter view of the coast, the settlement and the imposing rock, it creates an ideal location for the use of a new Hotel with a capacity of 28 autonomous hospitality spaces.

The Architectural design is done with the aim of creating functionally independent rooms and residences, which maintain the autonomy and privacy of the residents who are hosted. The monolithic nature of the volumes is broken into smaller ones by combining orthogonal lines and curved domes, shaded arcade passages and white roofs, vertical openings and small balconies in a move to implement the traditional standards of the place.

The general layout is done by creating an introverted building block, around the water element placed in the center, allowing the communal activities to develop around the perimeter.

At the highest point of the plot, the Reception and Restaurant areas are placed, leaving a free 360° panoramic view from the upper floor and the roof garden. At the lowest point of the plot is the open bar/restaurant, while the connection between them is made by a path that is enclosed on both sides by the green spaces and the water element.

The planting is of the Greek countryside, simple according to the local flora of the Cyclades.
